KUWAIT: Patron Chief of KPFA (Kuwait Pakistan Friendship Association) Mr. Mubarak Al Mutawa has arranged Iftar dinner for the Pakistani community at his residence which is called "Pakistan house" on the occassion of Gazwa e Bader.

 

KUWAIT: Ehtasham Allah Ditta is a Businessman and a social worker, he is hosting such a grand iftar dinner every year for the community for about 22 years. Ambassador of Pakistan attended the event as a chief guest. well known personalities from multiple groups and committee holders with few of them with families were invited at Crown plaza hotel, Kuwait.

The ambassador of Pakistan strongly condemned the suicide terrorist attack at a Mosque in Kuwait during Friday prayers recently. he conveyed heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathies to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, the entire government and people of Kuwait, and to the bereaved families on the loss of precious lives and injuries to a large number of innocent people.

The Ambassador expressed the solidarity of the government and people of Pakistan with their Kuwait brothers in combating the evils of terrorism and extremism.

PNO (Rana Munir) Hosted Iftar Dinner for the Prominent figure of Pakistanis community in Kuwait on 26-JUN-2015 at Rajdahni Restaurant Khaitan, Kuwait H.E Aslam Khan ambassador of Pakistan attended the function as a chief guest.

 

PBDIK (Pakistan Blood Donors in Kuwait) has organized its 7th Blood donation camp on 25-Jun-2015 at Central Blood bank Jabriya, Kuwait.

Almost 150 of donors with their families from various nationalities majority of Pakistanis donated their blood to fill the requirement of Blood Bank. well-known personalities attended the camp and appreciated the organizers for their achievements.

One of the event highlight was a visit of group of students from International School of Pakistan (Khaitan) who expressed keen interest in process of Blood Donation. Dr. Shuja (President, Society of Pakistani Doctors in Kuwait) explained the need and process of blood donation to these student and answered their questions. These students then visited blood donation room and seen the live process of blood donation.

KUWAIT: The Embassy of Pakistan, in collaboration with Pakistan Al Hafiz Group organized a day long Pakistani Mango Festival inside Kuwait's largest and most modern "Avenues Mall" on Friday, 12 June 2015. The event was scheduled carefully to coincide with the busiest pre-Ramadhan shopping season on a weekend. While the stall, located at the heart of the mall outside the famous Carrefour Grocery store, was opened for visit, briefing and mango tasting from 0900 hours in the morning, the formal inauguration of the festival was done by Ambassador of Pakistan, H. E. Muhammad Aslam Khan, at 1800 hours in the evening to attract maximum crowd, in the presence of a large number of Kuwaiti print and electronic media, and local Pakistani ethnic media. The inauguration ceremony was attended by a large number of Kuwaiti businessmen and women, representatives of community business and professional organizations and general public.

Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador of Pakistan highlighted the purpose and scope of the mango festival. He expressed the hope that the event would herald a new era in trade and economic relations between the two countries and lead to an appreciable increase in the import of Pakistani mangoes and other food products to Kuwait. He availed the opportunity to brief the Kuwaiti media on the full range of Pakistani products that met the criteria for import to the quality conscious Kuwaiti market.

The Ambassador congratulated the Commercial Wing of the Embassy, Al-Hafiz Group, and the community members for their dedicated efforts in organizing the event in the most professional manner.

According to a conservative estimate, over 50,000 people, including members of Pakistani community, other expatriate communities and Kuwaitis, attended the stall and evinced keen interest in Pakistani mangoes. The event representatives comprehensively briefed the public, and distributed brochures and fliers. A large number of people tasted the different types of Pakistani mangoes put on display, including Sindhri, Chonsa, Anwar Ratol and Dosehri.

As a result of the Embassy's efforts, Pakistani mangoes are now available at two major branches of Kuwaiti Union of Cooperative Consumer Societies (KUCCS) at Al Zahra and Farwania areas, besides Carrefour and at least 10 smaller stores across Kuwait.
